    2. Simply Music Rhapsody- Early Childhood Music and Movement ages infant-5

  • DO YOU HAVE RECITALS? +

We have a minimum of two performance opportunities a year. The first is during the holidays. We share our music at local nursing facilities. The kids play their favorite holiday songs and sing as a group. The second is in spring /early summer. This event is very relaxed and fun! The kids are encouraged to play duets and original compositions in addition, to a foundation piece We play games and enjoy a pot luck too. I strongly encourage participation in recitals, yet they are not required.
  • WHAT ARE THE COST FOR MATERIALS? +

Piano Foundation 1-9 and Play-A-Story materials cost $50.00 and include a reference book, a music book, a CD and a DVD. Materials last 3- 6 months and may vary depending on the student and program. Periodically, supplemental materials will be necessary. Generally, supplemental prices range $10-$25.00 Siblings only need 1 set.

Rhapsody materials are beautiful instruments and cost $50.00 per year, an additional CD may be required mid year.

  • WHAT IS YOUR MAKE UP POLICY? +

We ask for as much notice as possible for lesson cancellations. We will do our best to reschedule you for a different day that week if you have to miss a lesson. However, no credit or reduced rate will be given if a make up time is not available. Make up class will be provided within same week, time allowing.
  • DO I NEED A PIANO? +

You do not need an acoustic piano. A keyboard is fine but when searching please make sure it has a sustain pedal, not button. Also a full size keyboard of 88 keys is preferable, but smaller will work. For Simply Music Rhapsody classes, the student home materials provide everything needed.
